CCleaner – System Optimization Tool Revamped

The latest version of the CCleaner is the 3.15. It has now been released with better features. This version can clean a number of new applications including Ashampoo Burning Studio, Freemake Video downloader among others.

Anyone who has gone online searching for a system optimization and cleanup tool has probably come across CCleaner. It’s true that there are countless applications in the market claiming to work miracles but most are simply hoaxes.

However for those who have tried CCleaner usually find that the software is easy to use and a definite keep.  Bugs in the preceding version have been sorted out as well as the introduction of new features and options. Among the new options is one that allows the user to specify the files to be deleted from the recycle bin depending on the time they were put there. The option provides for deletion of files put in the recycle bin within 24hours. This makes it possible to retain files that can be restored later as well as acquiring a few extra mega bytes of space. New features include improved support for Chrome canary.

There is an added option for clearing search data from Omnibox. Enhancements to existing feature have also been added. These include improved cleaning of Mozilla’s Firefox history as well as an improved way of detecting file size. Also the Drive Wiper component of the CCleaner, which provides details of clean up operations, has been updated to provide better feed back.
A portable version of the CCleaner is also available.

This is useful software to have in the USB stick you always have with you. This version doesn’t need to be installed and offers the same functions and features of the installed version. CCleaner 3.15 is a tool you should have. For once here’s an application that won’t keep reminding you to sign up every time you run a tune up.
