Will be Windows 8 completely different?

In article published on MSDN Blog – which was consequently very quickly deleted – was published brief information about new version OS Windows. It should be Windows 8 even though that familiarly  this project is named as “Windows.next”.

We did not get to know much, but this article informed that Windows 8 will be diametrically different to what people usually expect from “windows”. There are many various Microsoft development teams they are going to cooperate together to create new version.

We don’t know yet what exactly we should expect from it, but we afford to predict stronger connection to web services and web content itself.

Few days ago Neowin.net published a product support roadmap, which comes from Microsoft ex-developer Chris Green. Plan indicates that we could expect Windows 8 in the second half of 2011. But all of that information should be taken with a grain of salt.
