New walkmans walking the streets
Sony added the Walkman X and W series into their lineup.
Sony expanded its Walkman lineup by introducing two new series, the X1000F, and W202 series, both targeted at different audiences.
The Walkman X1000F series boasts a 3 inch OLED touch display with Digital Clear Audio technologies. It is also WiFi capable, enabling users stream videos from YouTube and directly download podcasts while on the move. The X1000F offers innovative new features as well, such as ZAPPIN navigation and Jog Dial control. Its large 3 inch OLED touch display has a contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and has a wide viewing angle, making it easier on the eyes as well as letting more people enjoy the video playing. Users can opt to transfer music, movies and photos from Windows Explorer, iTunes or even Cyber-shot cameras to the Walkman with its simple drag and drop interface.
The Walkman W202 is a “wearable” music player that lets its users “wear the music”. Available in five colors and weighing at only 35 grams, the W202 is great for gym goers and also those who engage in an active lifestyle. With only 1.5 hours of charging time, users can enjoy up to 12 hours of music.
